What is on the page

Dots are set at 5mm centres, edge to edge, in a soft grey that reads at close range and vanishes at arm’s length. Each dot is 0.6 points wide, small enough to sit under text and drawings without competing. Margins are generous enough that a hole punch on the left edge does not remove any dots.

How to use dot grid paper

Dot grids work well for anything that benefits from a grid without the grid dominating. Bullet journalling is the obvious use, where headings, boxes, and habit trackers snap to the dots without the finished page looking like a spreadsheet. Sketch designers use it for wireframing, since dots suggest alignment without prescribing lines. Handwriting still flows on it because the dots do not interrupt letter forms.

Printing tips

Print at 100 percent scale. Do not use Fit to Page, or the dot spacing will shift and any measurements you take off the page will be wrong. Standard 20 lb paper works well. For fountain pen use, print on 24 lb or heavier to avoid ghosting through the sheet.
